Civitellians took a trip to a pair of Tuscan towns last Tuesday, 3 October to learn about the Early Renaissance painter Piero della Francesca. We first visited his most famous work,
The History of the True Cross, in the Basilica di San Francesco in Arezzo, followed by his
Madonna del Parto in a museum in Monterchi.
