This past Thursday, Civitellans took a break from working and ventured to the beautiful hill towns of Sansepolcro and Monterchi. Sansepolcro is just over the Tuscan border, where the painter Piero della Francesca was born, and Monterchi is the nearby birthplace of his mother. In both locations, Civitellans saw a few very important works of art.
