Composers Now, an organization that celebrates living composers and was founded by
Tania Leon (CRF 2003), honored
Alvin Singleton (CRF 2000) on February 26 at Brooklyn Family Court. Martha Mooke performed Alvin's piece, 'Mookestueck' for solo viola, then Alvin, Tania, and Martha held an informal discussion with participation from the audience. This event was part of the Kings County Courts celebration of Black History Month.
