Four Civitellians are on the Long List for the National Book Award for Poetry from the National Book Foundation.
Fanny Howe (CRF 2009) makes the list for her book Second Childhood from Graywolf Press, while Mark Strand (Director's Guest 2008, 2011) is listed for his book Collected Poems from Alfred A. Knopf/Random House.
Additionally, two recently awarded Fellows make the list as well. Claudia Rankine's (CRF 2015) Citizen: An American Lyric from Graywolf Press and Spencer Reece's (CRF 2016) The Road to Emmaus from Farrar, Straus, and Giroux are both listed.
