Assisi Field Trip

For our first Tuesday outing this season we went to Assisi.  

 We started at San Damiano, where St. Francis had his vision of Christ. Then we admired the frescoes of the upper and lower basilicas of San Francesco, joining the heated debate of 'Giotto, Non-Giotto'.

We ended at La Stalla restaurant, to happily fill our stomachs with meat and vegetables grilled right in front of us.
