Fred has been battling terminal cancer for some time now and recently entered hospice. These will probably be the final performances of Fred's music during his life, and his friends and family are rallying to honor him with their attendance.
The concerts will be performed in honor of Black History Month and seek to connect the politics and struggles of the Civil Rights Movement and Black Liberation to contemporary ecological issues of sustainability.
