Welcome to Mia, Our New Program Associate

Civitella Ranieri is pleased to welcome Mia Michelson-Bartlett as our new Program Associate in the New York office.  The Program Associate is the principle contact for Fellows in booking their travel and learning about the specifics of their upcoming stay at the Center in Umbertide, as well as other aspects of our New York operations.  We are sorry to bid farewell to Mac Walton, who will be moving on to Maine and Vermont, but happy to have Mia join the Civitella community.

Mia Michelson-Bartlett’s passion for the arts dates back to her childhood in the Pacific Northwest, where she was involved in dance, music, and theater. Her experiences as a student intern at the Williams College Museum of Art inspired her to pursue a career in the arts, and her belief that art fosters dialogue and builds connections among people underlies her professional endeavors. Prior to moving to New York City a year ago, Mia completed her graduate studies in Arts and Design Education at the Rhode Island School of Design and worked as the Education Associate at the Newport Art Museum. She is an avid recreational photographer and spends her free time knitting, practicing yoga, and following sports.
