On Tuesday, October 16, Fellows
were welcomed to Fabriano by Giorgio Pellegrini, Director of the Museum of Paper and Watermark. As a first stop we visited
the Gentile da Fabriano theatre dating from the 19th c.
We toured the famous Fabriano
paper making museum, had lunch at Ehmbè Restaurant (where Lynn Freed showed off her paper
folding skills), and enjoyed the sound museum Accademia dei Musici where we heard clavichords,
harpsichords, and antique pianos performed.
