Apartment for Sublet in Brooklyn

We are going to be away for most of the summer and have decided to sublet our spacious 1000 sq. ft. 5-room apartment in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. (Technically, it is a 2 bedroom apt, but there are 5 rooms, and 3 entrances. Only one bath and one kitchen though.)

We are looking into subletting for July and August, with a possibility to extend the sublet also in September, should the ideal subletter/s need also to stay in September.

The apartment is the entire top floor of a 4-story high brick building, on a tree lined street with very little traffic. That means, no noisy neighbors upstairs or on any sides, and the neighbors downstairs are pretty quiet too. It is sunny and quiet, ideal for a couple or 2 people who are willing to share. (It is very private for a share.)

Monthly rent is $1600: utilities are around $100 a month, including internet wireless. We do not have A/C but you are welcome to bring your own (keep in mind that with A/C, utilities will probably double, if not more). The apartment is furnished, but has plenty of space for additional stuff, if you travel loaded.

There are two queen size beds, and a twin.

Subletter/s will need to provide one month deposit, and water my plants! Pets are welcome, if they behave; most especially, do not destroy my plants or scratch the solid wood doors.

I have attached a few pictures taken today (a gloomy, overcast spring day, but still pretty sunny indoors, as you see)

Thank you, Claudia
