This is Elisa, the first of three interns we will welcome to Civitella Ranieri this season.
Elisa was born and raised in Mussomeli, a small village in Sicily. She studied in Palermo, as well as Innsbruck, Austria, and has just graduated with a Second Honour Degree in Economics and Tourism at the University of Perugia. She first discovered Civitella Ranieri when researching Artists' Residencies in Italy for her thesis.
Elisa brings experience with cultural associations to her internship at Civitella. She has worked with a contemporary performing arts festival in Rome and is the daughter of an artist. She is interested in how art can have an impact on daily life and how daily life has an impact on art. We feel very lucky to welcome her to Civitella.
